Senior Commercial Role leading the business in Central Europe with key focus on Poland 

 

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Full P&L responsibility and accountability. Net sales value Region 30 mil $ ( 30% from Emerging International 3P markets Region )
  • Own overall short- and long-term business strategy to deliver against business ambitions
  • Drive expansion in priority markets/ channels / customers in line with company targets
  • Partner with distribution partners’ Team  in all commercial channels to drive business growth, commercial excellence, and brand building strategy  
  • Recommend short and long-term business plans based on market insights and regional strategies, to best position BSI portfolio of brands and products for an optimal Route-to-Market
  • Drive Revenue Gross Management agenda in the market/s
  • Leads the Business Planning process for the assigned territory through annual Strategic Planning process, Channel Planning Process , others
  • Guide respective distribution partner regional teams in execution of any in-market initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders effectively to deliver global and regional strategic pillars
  • Leads S&OP process from Commercial standpoint to ensure market opportunities and risk are captured and communicated on time and in full
  • Manage efficiency in A&P spent – Price Support and Brand investment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 13+ years of commercial experience in national alcoholic beverage/FMCG companies preferred
  • 4-5 years’ experience in team management & working with regional cross-functional teams, achieving goals on-time with limited resources in dynamic and competitive market
  • Prior experience in handling fast-growth commercial markets
  • Proven track record for cultivating and growing strong relationships with key external & internal partners across various cultures
  • Ability to take a hands-on approach toward managing tactical as well as strategic work
  • Ability to analyse key business drivers and their financial implications on P&L, the balance sheet, and cash flows
  • Ability to leverage data for decision making (e.g. forecasting to estimate market demand)
  • Proven track record of identifying, developing and growing channels and channel partners 
  • Proven track record of leading tough negotiations (e.g. discussions with key stakeholders in high-risk situations)
  • Proven track record of building high performance teams through coaching and focussed development
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build cross-functional solutions
