The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing national pricing strategies and providing monthly reporting and analytics supporting our Brand Management teams. This role also validates and ensures the data integrity of SAP and our data lake in relation to pricing and reporting activities.

Role Responsibilities

National Pricing Administration & Coordination

  • Calculate and evaluate the impact of price changes on the Provincial and National P&L and provide insights and direction that support sound business decisions.
  • Manage price quotations and price change submissions with Liquor Boards
  • Provide monthly updates to executive leadership on pricing strategies.  
  • Provide analytics to guide decision making on price strategies that align with the national revenue maximization objective.
  • Act as the primary contact for all pricing inquiries from Billing and Customer Service.
  • Provide timely price change updates and applicable summaries to the company’s 3rd Party partners for their respective brands.
  • Maintain pricing data in SAP and review monthly sales write-offs related to pricing discrepancies.

Business Partner to Brand Management Teams

  • Provide outstanding business partnering to the Sales and Marketing organization, providing key decision support analysis, and participating in key business decision making.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages for Sales and Marketing as well as provide support and guidance for the completion of value-added business and market insights by these teams.
  • Analyze monthly Provincial P&L performance vs. Plan and vs. LY, providing insights on key business drivers by market and by brand.


  • University degree with a focus in Business or Finance
  • Holds or is actively working towards a professional accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CA, CMA)
  • SAP systems experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of PowerBI or willingness to self-learn is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Liquor Board Pricing Processes is an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis or related experience with a particular focus on financial accounting and reporting
  • Proven ability to work through ambiguity in fast-paced work environments
