Assistant Manager Sales Planning & Analysis

The position is a crucial support function to South commercial sales team in providing analytics & stratergy for business. South markets in India have now four Turbo charge markets where in this position has a crucial role in guiding the Turbo charge workflow,

 

Role Responsibilities

Responsibilites: Strategy Formulation

  • Contribute in development of business plan and sales strategy for the entire south market
  • Compiling sales forecast for the region
  • Support region sales team in creation of proposals for budget approvals, sales support etc

 

Business Performance Reporting and Analysis

  • Tracking and analysis of primary / secondary sales for different brands/SKUs as per Beam's Revenue Recognition Policy
  • Tracking score card (sales KPIs) for the region
  • Coordination with sales team/state coordinators for reports/ MIS/ Trade Marketing reports
  • Tracking actual NSV against budget
  • Tracking and analysis of Sales & Marketing spends against budget
  • Providing Gap analysis and exceptions reports for state wise budget, volume/ rebates/ CPC etc
  • Single point of contact for Sales reports/ SPRs/ A&Ps/ Sales Incentives/ Sales Forecast/ Sales Projects/ Sales Training coordination
  • Preparing Sales review presentations
  • Tracking activation (Customer & Consumer) efficiencies with pre. & post analysis, learning and recommendations
  • Tracking Internal Market share with the help of sales team
  • Support in development of dashboards and performance management matrix on trends, gaps, shortfalls to help support Sales team on an ongoing basis
  • Designing other relevant trackers, as & when needed, for business growth &/or efficiency build up
  • Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends
  • Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis to assist in Sales Planning & Trade Investments
  • Prepare scheduled, in-depth evaluation of sales performance for external & internal reporting every month
  • Present analytical outputs as required for senior manager presentations
  • Provide team with analysis & reporting as required 
  • Provide data inputs toTurbo Charge cities for play book, P&L analysis devise strategies based on supporting data. Help in expansion of projects 

 

Pricing 

  • Identify opportunities across region for pricing strategies
  • Price Indexing and monitoring 

 

Qualifications & Experience

Experience & Qualification: 

  • 5-6 years' experience
  • Graduate/MBA/CA, preferably an MBA in Finance
  • Strong inter personnel skills, Financial Analytical skills 
  • Strong exposure to Sales MIS & Analytics  

Mission of the Role

This role will provide support to the Sales & Marketing Leadership Team in terms of MIS and Analytics. This person will facilitate the coordination, support and evaluation of all sales activities and marketing initiatives as they are executed in field across the channels
