Role Responsibilities

  • Provide mid-long term strategic input to brands (volume, mix, pricing, BI investment, etc) in relation to Taiwan markets, ensuring assumptions are validated locally and based on aligned principles globally/regionally
  • Ensure regular performance analysis for the mix of brands and markets to identify key issues/opportunities.  Assess the ‘what and why’ and make recommendations on actions
  • Identify best practices, using them to improve our programs/assets and/or inspire local markets => Drive marketing excellence incl. ATL, BTL, media and PR, NPD, portfolios management, digital, CRM and consumer promotion scheme to inspire local markets
  • Lead (as required) on key strategic projects relevant to Taiwan – for example, reviews of our current range performance in markets, pricing strategy, allocation strategy, etc.=> Working with commercial teams to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Manage BI budget ensuring accurate accounting of spend and ROI tracking
  • Work with insights team to develop consumer centric understanding of the Taiwan markets, ensuring this is understood and embedded into the thinking with both the Global Brand House and the local market teams
  • Supervising the marketing team and providing guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals

Qualifications

  • University educated (Degree in Business/Marketing preferred)
  • 10+ years marketing experience
  • Experience working with commercial finance team (and an understanding of P&L dynamics)
  • Proven experience in managing multi-dimensional projects with multiple inputs and outputs
  • Track record of cross-functional team leadership and generating motivation/enthusiasm for break-through marketing
  • Experience working in multiple countries under Taiwan markets giving an understanding of market/consumer dynamics and behaviors
  • Strong business acumen and analytical
  • Travel may be required – up to 30% of time
  • Experience within in premium/luxury Spirits or other luxury sectors
