Role Responsibilities

  • A deep assessment and analysis of the current needs of the company and actions to be implemented from a legal perspective. Ensuring full compliance with the local regulation and internal company policies.
  • Provide a defense of the company’s interests across the full spectrum of legal issues, input into trade association activity on these issues and consistently make legal decisions that support achievement of business objectives;
  • Translate legal advice to actions that deliver business value in full compliance with local regulation, working very close with the different departments providing the right legal support;
  • Oversee compliance of company policies with relevant best practice and all type of regulations, with a focus on competition law, data protection, advertising regulations, code of conduct, anti-bribery regulation;
  • Proactively monitor changes to the regulatory landscape and implement the necessary controls and actions to ensure full compliance by the company of any type of new regulation;
  • Negotiation and formalization of all type of agreements as well as to support the implementation of global company policies;
  • Assistance to corporate matters;
  • Determine the need for and interact with external legal advisors;
  • Deliver trainings as per requested.

Qualifications

  • Ability to forge strong partnerships at multiple levels and with multiple groups.
  • Strong written and oral communication, analytical, organizational, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide concise, pragmatic and timely advice to the business whilst understanding the commercial and legal aspects.
  • Ability to have a hands-on, proactive approach and to take initiatives where necessary. Willingness to handle various projects regardless of their scope.
  • Ability to duly and timely manage significant workload and priorities and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
