What makes this a great opportunity?

Partners the Group Marketing Manager to activate the strategic marketing direction, delivering against key growth objectives of brand health, volume, sales and profit.


Role Responsibilities

  • Works with the Group Marketing Manager to develop, then lead the marketing strategy for the brands within the portfolio
  • Plan and manage annual brand plan (ATL/ BTL, on/ off) and liaise directly with agencies and Global Brand House to develop programs.
  • Deliver brand plans on time and to budget, with Brand House alignment
  • Build effective working relationships with the adjacent teams (Category, Shopper, Finance) to gain input, alignment and support of marketing activities e.g. business reviews.
  • Develop above the line communication programs, briefs and media schedule with effective ROI for all proposed strategies
  • Efficient management of brand A&P budgets (do more with less)
  • Communication of brand standards, plans, strategy, and marketing programs to key stakeholders (internal & external) – Oceania and Global
  • Regular brand performance and health reviews, tracking, and reporting – strong expertise in Aztec/ Nielsen and Roy Morgan
  • Develop NPD strategies for future growth of the brands. Especially with reference to developing commercially valid NPD outcomes via data builds to support business case.
  • Develop and manage sponsorship strategy and leverage programs to maximize each property
  • Monthly reporting on market performance and progress to achieve budget for sales (ex factory & Nielsen/ Aztec/ Roy Morgan)


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 - 7 years experience in a consumer marketing environment
  • Tertiary qualifications (preferably Commerce or Business with Marketing Major)
  • Liquor industry experience is valued but not essential
