Mission of Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Marketing Assistant to support the Canadian Club and Premium Bourbon team to help bring our campaigns to life. In this role, you'll support in executing creative initiatives, engaging our audience across platforms, boosting brand visibility, tracking performance and providing general support to the team. The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication & collaboration skills. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, events & sponsorships
- Conduct market research, collate competitor activity, monitor brand performance and analyze consumer trends.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Manage social media accounts and create engaging content.
- Coordinate meetings and event organization
- Communicate & build rapport with agencies and cross functional stakeholders
- Ensure brand imagery is always up to date
- General Administration duties (e.g. Invoice Administration, new vendor forms, tracking administration)
- Lead management of POS, inventory, coding, ordering & stock takes
- Assist in responding to customer enquiries, brand information and corporate information
- Provide general support to the brand team
Qualifications
- 0-2 years marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel & Powerpoint)
- Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to analyze data and generate insights
- Thinks broadly, creatively and has problem-solving abilities.
- Can easily build rapport, work collaboratively and adapt to different personalities
- Service orientated individual with a positive outlook
- A pro-active, can do attitude a must!
