Mission

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Global Travel Retail (GTR) Team as Revenue Management Manager GTR.

In this role, the employee will immediately be a key participant in driving business decisions on our most powerful profit lever – pricing.  The employee will gain broad exposure to our sales, finance, and marketing teams across all of GTR.    

This role will give you:

• An opportunity to collaborate with commercial teams to make decisions on investment and deliver practical results in store leading to a strong P&L delivery
• Access to improve our activations and promotions and our day to day presence in store, assisting the development of new activation creative concepts

The role forms part of the Commercial Excellence GTR team, reporting into the Commercial Excellence Senior Manager, based in the UK.

• This role leads the Revenue Management for GTR as part of the Commercial Excellence team
• Lead pricing, promotions, and product mix across the full GTR business with clear ROI comparisons
• Ensure that we have the Analysis to build the best investment plans for the future that drive growth and maximise profit
• Challenge our current customer plans to ensure ultimate performance
• Execute financial pricing reports and analysis to make pricing decisions
• Engaging and supporting Beam Suntory’s Revenue Management, Pricing, Marketing, and Finance teams’ questions and ad hoc projects to monitor for pricing opportunities.

Desired Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in business or economics. 
• Strong analytical and computer skills a must.
• Must be able to build proficiency in usage of the following systems: Excel, Powerpoint, Bobj, AC Nilesen, Nielsen Pricing & Promo tool, NABCA Diver, SAP, Aperity, Vistaar.  Previous familiarity with these systems a plus.
• Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze pricing, financial, and sales data. Ability to mine data for key insights.
• Comfortable presenting analysis and findings to marketing and cross-functional teams for debate and decision.  Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changes roles and responsibilities on a frequent basis
• The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years business experience (e.g. product pricing, revenue management, or finance)
• Ability to challenge the Status Quo
• Familiarity with the spirits industry or consumer packaged goods companies in general is preferred but not required
• Some travel will be required
