This represents a great opportunity to influence the supply chain inventory strategy for the International region giving high exposure to senior leadership in Global Supply Chain, International region and Business Units, Operating Units and Co-packers it will give the successful candidate exposure at different functional and geographic locations and with the ambitious growth plans ($10B Sales by 2030) and premiumisation strategy (60% of sales from Premium Brands by 2030) they can play a key part in optimising our inventory and protecting our great liquid assets to maximise their value.

GTR Supply planning Manager will be the key interface between the key planning functions and the GTR Leadership Team. To facilitate this role, they will need to be a SME on the use of planning techniques to balance supply & demand, particularly on allocated products with limited availability. Responsible and accountable to ensure supply gaps and changes to plan are clearly identified and communicated to the wider business. Then working with S&OP and Regional Supply Planning and Customer Service teams on gap mitigation, ensuring clear and precise inputs to S&OP cycle to facilitate effective decision making.

They will require a collaborative mindset working closely with Customer Service and customers to put a SC collaboration framework in place based on SLA’s.


Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to-person to represent Supply Chain in front of GTR leadership team as well as key customers as needed, connecting the dots internally to be able to provide the storyline for GTR.
  • Along with Customer Service teams, accountable to put a framework in place of SC Collaboration with GTR Customers, identifying and capturing opportunities to improve service and/or decrease cost-to-serve, nurturing the partnership with top GTR Key Accounts.
  • Accountable to conduct the monthly Supply Review for GTR as part of the S&OP cycle, in close coordination with S&OP lead for GTR, through efficient coordination with the different stakeholders and Reg/BU Planning teams involved, consolidating the Supply position and providing an accurate representation of Stock Availability and Supply situation across the different Warehouses delivering GTR customers.
  • Work through the Reg Supply Planning and PLCM teams to ensure optimal coordination with OU to replenish Whses and serve GTR orders with highest possible Service Levels in accordance to submitted Forecast, coordinating processes around building additional stocks or ringfence stocks in Warehouses in order to protect supply to GTR customers.
  • Coordinates with Regional Supply Planning teams on developing optimal strategies on Inventory Policies in conjunction with Markets and OU and optimal sourcing and/or pick up location to GTR customers
  • Act as a primary interface between S&OP Lead for GTR and Reg. Supply Planning teams and BU SC directors to promptly resolve real time issues of supply as they occur.
  • Ensure a high degree of coordination within the S&OP process, Global Customer Service and other key stakeholders from Marketing and Commercial to ensure the innovation and phase-out is consistent and properly deployed in the Planning Strategy.
  • Ensure deployment plan is executed and any discrepancies are incorporated into future planning decisions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant field. (mandatory)
  • Post-grad or CIPS qualifications (desirable)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
