Supply Network Planner  



What makes this a great opportunity?

Position will be part of the International Planning function, reporting to Regional Planning Manager 

Will be a key interface between the Operating Units, Markets and Senior management to ensure all decisions are taken at the right level and that communication is effective and supply plans are aligned throughout the assigned territories. 

Will be responsible through APO to align the deployment plan between Operating Units and consolidation warehouses to end customer/markets. To serve as a basis for the maintenance of production planning at the Operating Units/Co-packers taking all constraints into account (capacity, handling, transport, reworks needs, stock pre-build, etc.)


Role Responsibilities

Develop, through effective use of APO-SNP, the primary supply plan within the assigned Network, for further review and alignment with Markets & OU,  taking into account constraints related to allocation, line / warehouse capacity, handling constraints, transport availability, rework, dry goods, stock prebuild, safety stocks, …

Review system Stock Transfer Requests (STR’s) and prepare shipment schedule in weekly buckets for further alignment and confirmation from OU and Markets.

Release SNP Plan to OU to perform detailed production planning and subsequently create Deployment through TLB to create mid-term replenishment plan. Create Stock Transport Orders (STO’s) based on STR’s or manual requests to push stock.

Manage daily exception alerts to identify and analyse changes then acting upon / escalating as appropriate.

Review potential OOS and develop action plan to minimize impact and prevent future occurrences.

Monitor Inventories across System, identifying slow-moving stock and potential obsoletes, taking a pro-active approach to minimize risk.

Perform regular review of APO / MRP parameters to ensure inventory and safety stock levels at OU and Markets are optimised across the distribution network as well as Supply Plans are consistent with defined production policy (production wheel)

Support and lead other SNP’s acting as the primary interface with OU, Markets, Logistics, S&OP ...).


Qualifications & Experience

APICS Certification (Desirable)

Minimum 3-year business experience in Supply Chain role (mandatory).

Previous experience in a demand and or supply planning role (desirable).

Good understanding of Beam Suntory structure and portfolio

Educated to HND level or equivalent (mandatory)

Mathematic or statistical subject or logistic qualification (desirable)
