Online Brand Protection Controller Team Lead  

 

The following position is is open in ScotlandUnited Kingdom.


 

What makes this a great opportunity?

 

Monitor, manage & action possible infringements within the online environment to protect our Brands and Reputation.  Provide first class support to the Brand Protection function within Beam Suntory.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team & manage on a daily basis online listings in an external system to identify possible infringements across Brands, Trademark and pricing from various online channels.
  • Expertise to conduct online research and assess, aggregate and analyse data from a variety of sources, presenting the findings in a clear and understandable way.
  • Action relevant suspect items as appropriate and manage through to completion, possibly moving from online to offline action, including engaging brand protection partners to conduct further intelligence checks, reports and site visits or test purchases.
  • Understand, analyse & interpret financial & order data & present in meaningful views
  • Provide statistics & monthly reports for Brand Houses, E-Commerce Team & Leadership Teams.
  • Develop relationships with Brand Houses and E-Commerce Team to ensure that communication is collaborative, relevant & timely and provide feedback on progress/actions, collaborating with other areas in the Brand Protection Team.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate records of research and analysis undertaken.
  • Develop a relationship with the Operating Units/Manufacturing Sites to build ‘Brand Bibles’ and provide feedback on progress/actions taken.
  • Striving to find new and innovative ways to better protect our Brands. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information & compliance with EU & International Law, helping to protect company assets.
  • Support Brand Protection Co-ordinator to maintain relationship & communication with 3rd party partner & throughout the organisation

          Maintain continuous professional development.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in working with EDW (or similar BI tools), get financial information and interpret the results
  • High level of business acumen to understand the full value chain: from our sell in prices until shelf price positioning
  • Experience in leading teams & setting targets
  • Relevant experience working in cyber security, law or data analysis.
  • Good analytical & accurate reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Achieves results through the ongoing coaching and development of team members, in a consistent open and honest style
  • Drives effective team performance and morale, leading by example
  • Commits to the achievement of a Personal Development Plan, demonstrating understanding of Company Values & Behaviours
  • Show capability to learn new tasks, and then be able to improve, and encourage others to do the same
  • Actively contribute to the development of their teams, culture, processes and performances. Consistently looking to train, coach and develop other team members as required
  • Ability to support, coach and develop remote team members.
  • Experience in delivering reports and presentations to a high standard.
  • IT literate (e.g. good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Database management experience.
  • SAP and EDW experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both internal & external stakeholders and able to support their requirements.
  • Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Able to demonstrate independent working, problem-solving & prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure & with ever changing deadlines.
