HR Generalist

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager for Scottish and Irish Operations, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join the team at Beam Suntory.

The HR Generalist will partner with our people leaders at all levels to support our strategy of Vision into  Action through  the capability and engagement of our people.  In this role, you will enable: recruitment and selection, talent development and performance management and positive employee relations across our business units. Given our exciting growth plans you will have the opportunity to help build the organisational and people capability we need to achieve our goals.     


Role Responsibilities

- Manages and utilises HR analytics to enable data driven decision making across all aspects of HR.

- Supports people leaders by providing guidance and coaching employee relations, sickness absence,performance and grievance and disciplinary matterss.

- Partners with Talent Acquistion  and hiring managers on attracting best talent through ensuring optimum job design and description,developing recruitment and selection approaches and managing hiring and onboarding.

- Supports the development and enablement of our CSR and Diversity, Equity and Inclusiion strategy for the Uk and Ireland.

- Works with the UK and Ireland HR on our continuous improvement journey around all aspects of our processes and policies working towards best in class compliance and practice.

- Project Management of key HR and change initiatives.

- Will support the continuous listening strategy rollout on our engagement survey and work with people leaders to listen and respond.

- Will enable data driven decision making across all aspects of HR.


Qualifications & Experience

- Educated to Degree Level

- CIPD accredited

- Generalist operational HR experience in a fast moving, ideally multi site environment

- Expertise in employee relations and employment legislation

- HR project management and execution

- Excellent HRIS skills and aptitude

- Strong communication and relationship building capabilities

- Proactive solution finder with a  positive ,can-do outlook

- Flexible, adaptable and resilient


 Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Working  as part of an international HR organisation.

- Rewards-Compensation planning implementation

- Development-Instructional design and  training delivery
