With an unrivalled portfolio of prestige Scotch & Irish whisky brands, this position will support the Business Development Director in realising the global in-market execution strategy for Scotch, transforming how and where we show up to fully achieve our value creation model.

This role will support our long-term strategy for executional excellence including an aligned city strategy approach; a focused channel/halo account approach; clear execution standards and ensuring our allocations are maximized through distribution, visibility and presence (DVP) in the world’s best outlets.

The role will be based within our Scotch House but work closely with other GBH’s to ensure best practice and a unified approach which is easy for markets to understand and deploy as a portfolio.

Role Responsibilities

With the Business Development Director, manage the delivery of the Global executional excellence strategy, design, execution and commercialisation for Scotch, ensuring “one voice” direction for Global markets.

o For example, Prestige work clarity to create clarity about distribution and channel objectives, outlet standards etc

· Support our allocations process and ensuring that allocations are matched by strong in-market plans to sell through

· Support the Business Development Director with the in year performance management between the BH and markets, helping ensure we hit our financial and other KPI taregts

· Within the overall Prestige key city strategy, support the development and alignment around a S&I city strategy approach that will help accelerate our prestige credibility and impact for the Scotch malt whisky brands

· With the global Prestige team, manage the direction of global halo accounts, ensuring criteria and execution standards are met and tracked

· Work with key markets globally to deliver against the prestige execution excellence workplan and priorities, aligned with the Business Development Director

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

- Internal: Brand Teams, Sales/Marketing directors, GLT, SLT and regional leadership teams, regional commercial excellence teams and global marketing excellence functions

· External: Distributor/Market teams, agencies/consultant

Qualifications

· 7 years+ experience delivering against executional excellence and/or commercial marketing strategy

· Appreciation for the full global RTCE value chain & how to drive change within markets globally

· Strong appreciation for brand & market planning & delivering against the strategic thinking to develop a plan with markets that will embed a focus on executional excellence
