WHAT MAKES THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?
The Manager, Demand Planning Data Analytics - S&OP CoE is a manager-level position who has experience in leading multiple implementations of business intelligence, with exposure to demand planning or other aspects of supply chain planning. This position will be accountable for all the data and reporting requirements for managing the implementation of the next generation of Planning technology. Ideal candidates have more than just knowledge or skill set, as they also have a “can do" and “we over me” mindset to find and implement solutions.
This position will collaborate with the S&OP Leadership, Regional S&OP teams, IT, and Commercial teams in the BUs across all three global regions to support the data and analytics needs for the implementation of the business transformation program.
Role Responsibilities
- Own the analytics and data requirements for the Demand Planning organization
- Own the global development of Demand Planning analytics, training, and documentation. Provide training and education to demand planning teams globally
- Conduct complex data analyses leveraging multiple data sources and synthesizes results
- Identify process gap opportunities and execute process improvements to deliver best in class demand planning processes
- Work closely with the technical community to drive a team of business users globally who are experts in the system, allowing for internal problem-solving capabilities, a high degree of end-user acceptance, and sustainable, functional performance
- Assist in root cause analysis for metrics such as Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias
- Ensure that the Data warehouse includes data flows from multiple systems and is the single source of truth across Commercial, Finance, Planning, and Manufacturing
- Lead the data integration strategy with customers (internal and external) to feed SAP IBP, leveraging advanced planning functionality where appropriate
- Partner with the business to understand the market segmentation strategies and incorporate these into the blueprint design, inclusive of multiple planning hierarchies and differentiated time horizons.
- Support the development and maintenance of the Data Glossary and Data Lineage in partnership with Data Management team
- Maintain industry knowledge and trends to guide future roadmap planning
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics for a CPG company, with focus on supply chain analytics
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting analytics
- Led prior system implementation and/or integration projects with focus on change management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing requirements
- Experience leading BI projects and Datawarehouse implementations
- Experience with Supply Chain Planning tools like SAP IBP or SAP APO highly preferred
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
- Exposure to data automation tools (RPA, etc) preferred
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, written and verbal communication skills across many levels of the organization
