Our Bottling and Bulk Spirit operations across the UK & Ireland produce a range of premium products from our portfolio of Gins, Scotch whisky and Irish Whiskeys servicing a global customer base. This is a great opportunity for a keen & proactive multi-skilled Engineer to work in a modern dynamic bottling facility. The candidate will be able to expand their skill base by working on advanced bottling equipment including robotics and will also be in a position to apply their previously gained skills to our environment making & implementing continuous improvement projects.

 

Role Responsibilities

Multi-skilled role dealing with all electro-mechanical aspects of bottling & associated equipment.

Actively support daily operations to ensure targets are achieved & maintained.

Strong problem solving skills in elecrical, mechanical & PLC diagnostics.

Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement Initiatives & have the ability to implement these individually & as part of the team.

Carry out reguar Planned Maintenance activities recording any findings & plan repairs/replacement parts.

Identify root causes of poor performance & implement effective & sustainable solutions to improve efficiency.

Strong emphasis on Health, Safety & Environmental issues with the ability to identify, repot & eliminate risks.

Follow proper procedures in relation to Permit to Work, RAMS & LOTO requirements.

Raising Purchase Requisitions, Parts Ordering, Invoice receipting & have Budget awareness.

Update Performance Weekly Performance Reviews, Combined Action Plans & Engineering KPI Scorecards.

Contribute to overtime demands.

 

Qualifications & Experience

ONC/HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.

SVQ Level 3 Electrical & Mechanical Engineering

18th Edition Qualified preferable

 

Experience in FMCG environment preferable, food or drinks background.

Experience of Depalletizers, Rinsers, Fillers, Corkers/Cappers, Labellers, Case sealers & Palletizers.

Experiece of support equipment such as conveyors, Ink-Jet printers, Laser Coders & Print & Apply technologies.

Experience of working with Robotics an advantage but not essential.
