What makes this a great opportunity?
The HRM France & Northern Europe will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of the HR agenda of our team in: France, our newly created owned Route to Market, with approximately 30 FTEs and Northern Europe, which is a group of countries with direct & indirect operations through strategic local distributor partnerships. Northern Europe is a group of approximately 15 FTEs based across: Austria, Netherlands and Sweden. The HRM will own the end-to-end employee life cycle of the scope and will ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR service to the business, including delivery of talent, performance, engagement and resourcing strategies. The role reports into the Sr HR Manager Germany, France & Northern Europe and will strongly partner with our HR COEs, such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Solutions, Global Talent Process and L&D.
Role Responsibilities
People Partner:
• Coach and provide HR support to leaders, especially France GM and Leadership Team, and Northern Europe Director, so they’re equipped to perform at their best and drive culture aligned to company values and behaviors.
• Build strong relationships with managers and employees based on respect and trust, to partner effectively, influence decision making, and coach on a range of confidential and sensitive topics.
• Negotiation partner to the French Works Council
Organizational Effectiveness:
• Manage the day-to-day HR systems and activities, in conjunction with the HR People Solutions, Talent acquisition and Total Rewards teams in their respective areas of expertise for the scope.
• Leverage employee data and analytics to inform decision making, spot workforce trends, and drive continuous improvement in the workplace and in general employee experience.
Employee Experience/Building Culture:
• Lead and influence change, design interventions to drive the appropriate culture, behaviors, skills, and performance and provide insight and leadership on change management strategy, planning and implementation relating to organizational goals
• Partner with leaders to develop, implement and follow up on employee engagement proposals and plans. Ensure these are reinforced to embed cultural change in the longer term.
Strategic Talent Management:
• Partner to facilitate annual performance management and compensation planning as well as calibration sessions.
• Work with managers and employees to embed talent management processes to identify and develop talent.
HR Operations:
• Work closely with regional HR operations team members to support/approve where needed, directly manage employees completing country specific HR programs & initiatives, ensure new starters/offboarding are well managed.
• Support the development and implementation of relevant HR policies, procedures and practices that allow the business to work more efficiently
• Lead key legislative changes that impact HR Operations responsibilities providing with training and guideline.
Partnership with COEs:
• Work with the CoEs on reporting, data accuracy, compliance, and employee data audits. Manages the preparation of such reports as are necessary to carry out the functions of the department.
• Work closely with Total Rewards team to implement global initiatives related to pay, benefits and reward programs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources or related discipline
• 3 - 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
• Experience in at least one of the following areas; learning and development, talent acquisition, human resource business partnering
• Previous experience managing business groups through the full life cycle recruitment & talent / performance management process is ideal
• Ability to handle information in a confidential manner
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Proven ability to effectively influence and make an impact on a wide array of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation
• Responds to change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives
• Champions continuous improvement and innovation
• Inspires results and respect through empowerment, accountability recognition and rewards
• Fluent in French and English, German is a plus
