What makes this a great opportunity?

The Supply Planner is responsible for supporting the assigned market(s) on supply planning activities with the goal of balancing between optimizing working capital and achieving target service level. The role is accountable for establishing and maintaining optimum inventory level to support the business growth, ensuring timely communication of risk and opportunities to the stakeholders by partnering with operating units/suppliers, being agile and ready to offer alternative solutions in order to minimize business impact.

Role Responsibilities

Supply Planning Management – all case finished goods and dry materials 

  • Oversee supply planning parameters, distribution requirement signal and issue purchase orders for the domestic market in Korea
  • Understand operating units/supplier capabilities and capacity; compare needs vs capacities and identify and flag gaps impact the market
  • Liaise with the operating units/suppliers on the for the transportation of goods to Korea 3PL warehouse

 
Inventory & Operational Optimization

  • Support in warehouse inventory accuracy and monthly closing reconciliation with 3PL vs SAP
  • Ensure proper management of product substitution and collaboration with Project team, Demand Planners and Commercial team for smooth execution of old/new SKU inventory phasing and business plans
  • Review and ensure safety stock setup for material and all cased finished good are optimized and aligned with the global standard policy
  • Perform regular data maintenance in SAP for all related planning parameters
  • Conduct SLOB reduction collaboration regularly with internal stakeholders to reduce excess/obsolete stock
  • Understand the key drivers resulting in inventory landing fluctuation and take prompt actions to ensure inventory landing is aligned with budget

 
Project Management

  • Support APO deployment and utilize data analytics to identify optimization opportunities for planning and execution activities
  • Lead/drive continuous improvement/simplification initiatives for operational activities/reports across the region
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or an equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of experience in managing E2E supply chain. Experience in F&B and FMCG industries will be preferred
  • Fluency in English. Spoken/written Korean is preferred but not a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and possess good working experience & knowledge in SAP R/3, APO and other ERP systems
  • Good knowledge and experience of import and export procedures and custom clearance management
