Senior Commerical Manager  




Develop & implement annual commercial plans to accelerate the net sales and profit growth to deliver business performance metrics.  Develop, implement and evaluate distribution & route to market strategy to deliver plan and increase market share.


This role is responsible for all commercial aspects of the business performance and delivery across specific markets in Southeast Asia Business; markets include Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos and India Sub Continent (Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives). This commercial leadership role will identify, evaluate and drive opportunities for accelerating commercial growth and seeding our business for the future across the region with a strong focus on further developing the company’s Southeast Asia Market Commercial P&L for the future.


The position holder of this role will be involved in providing strategic direction, expert distribution management and building commercial capabilities of the SEA team.

  • The position manages, oversees and evolves the commercial direction of Southeast through day-to-day strategic leadership of the team & local distributors to achieve short and long terms business objectives.
  • The role requires the incumbent to continuously adapt to the RTM to suit the evolving emerging environment, making strategic adjustments to maximize efficiency.
  • The position will have 3 direct reportees


Desired Qualifications


·          Minimum 8 years leadership experience in commercial and trade marketing functions.

·          Good understanding of the nature of various developing markets and experience is working with distributors.

·          Strong knowledge of supply chain industry systems, trends and best practices, with a proven track record of success managing and implementing solutions despite operational challenges.

·          Having a good understanding and balance between commercial success, local regulations, and international companies’ compliance standards.

·          Prior experience in distributor management is desired.

·          Degree in business management, or related field is required.

·          Multi-lingual skills in order to communicate with local trade (i.e. English, Hindi, Mandarin Dialects)
