An entrepreneurial role that leads the Commercial Excellence function for Suntory Global Spirits GTR leading automation led analytics of revenue, sales & profitability to support decision making for annual/monthly sales forecasting/planning & long-term profitable market share growth. In addition, this position will be responsible for setting up the Sales training function that leads capability upgrade for the commercial organization in the areas of automation, analytics, forecasting accuracy, revenue growth management, key account management & top-class outlet execution.

Role Responsibilities

  • Leverage the Sales Analysts to promote standardized reporting & develop action-driven automated dashboards
  • Lead relevant automation projects working with Global IT & Commercial Excellence team aimed improving business effieincies & effectiveness e.g. TPM implementation, Trade Term Conditionality etc
  • Collaborate with the LT to enable Joint Business Planning with key customers through structured systems and processes
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the store execution to deliver the best in-class store experience
  • Lead the training vertical for the commercial organisation
  • Lead the process of commercial need analysis, develop a commercial learning calendar for all existing team members & new hires in commercial function
  • Oversee high quality content creation in areas of Data & Analytics, Revenue Growth Management, Premiumisation, Supply Chain Forecasting, Outlet execution.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 Years with substantial experience in areas of outlined responsibility obtained either through working on such topics in leading FMCG/beverage companies and/or some sales/commercial experience in consumer goods sector coupled with project-based work on route-to-market/sales excellence (e.g., within a consulting setting or as part of internal project teams within a corporate)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • At least some experience in field sales and demonstrated progressive levels of people responsibility (incl. direct sales reports)
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of sales forecasting software strong analytical experience utilizing Excel, Tableau and CPG, food, and beverage industry standard tools
  • Enterprise thought leadership and perspective on the most critical growth drivers of the business over the long-term
  • Exceptional business, commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders including the senior management and executive level
  • Communication and Presentation / Facilitation Skills (verbal & written): Effectively transfers thoughts and expresses ideas orally or verbally in individual or group situations.
