The S&OP Analytics Manager will support deployment of the APAC analytics road map, develop new reports and implement improvements on existing ones. This role connects with users and COE team to deploy and ensure user adoption and work closely with the COE team to support systems deployment.
Role Responsibilities
Support the APAC S&OP team
- Proactively engage with the APAC S&OP team to propose system solutions that will enable process maturity & drive efficiency.
- Support users to best leverage and understand S&OP systems, local analytics portfolio and global analytics.
- Understand data pipeline and data flow to guide users on their analytics usage - when is it relevant, what tool and potential caveat.
- Collect user requests / feedback / pain points for potential enhancement and root cause analysis.
- Frequent interactions with users to deeply understand their analytics reporting needs and areas of opportunity.
Analytics development
- Support APAC road map deployment.
- Review design & architecture and provide suggestions on alternative data flow, design decision or logic.
- Develop new reports and implement improvement on existing one aligned. This includes power query code, DAX code, creation of visuals / BI, table relationships.
- Support deployment & training for the APAC team on new analytics, focusing on planning, communication and engagement with the DP team, COE team & IT.
- Implement feedback from the APAC team and where relevant, suggest alternative visualisations.
- Review analytics usage.
Analytics maintenance
- Ensure reports are refreshed (manual, semi manual and automated), with acceptable level of accuracy, reliability and available on time for users activity.
- Communicate refresh status and challenges, potential data issues to the APAC team.
- Troubleshoot reports, fix any issue in the code, report, visual or the data pipeline.
- First level escalation for data / system issues to global team, follow up on resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Engineering, systems or data analytics.
- Strong expertise with Power BI or other reporting software (BI), including Power Query & DAX.
- Experience with IBP, SAP analytics reporting, and demand planning & forecasting.
- Strong project management skills with ability to define & drive road maps.
- Good understanding of business process improvement & governance processes.
- Experience in engaging with IT to drive projects.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders across the APAC region with different business models and cultural environments.
- Ability to understand stakeholder needs and find solutions to support business.
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience, responds constructively to new demands & challenges
- Strong analytical ability & business-oriented with a drive for excellence.
- High degree of comfort with numbers and in analyzing large data.
- Excellent interpersonal & strong communication skills to manage stakeholders.
- Display proactiveness & tenacity in resolving issues.
- Business proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Chinese would be preferred.
