Role Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and execute marketing and brand strategies – including key issues & insights, pricing, packaging, promotions and advertising while allocating resources accordingly.
  • Develop elements of brand plans and brand toolkits, with coaching from Marketing Director
  • Analyse key business metrics - Monthly review and recommendations on brand P&Ls, value and volume share, competitive activity and brand health metrics
  • Share program results and key learning from research or testing (where applicable) or with feedback from Shopper Marketing Managers, Commercial Sales Directors, and Innovation & Insights team
  • Manage brand budgets, BI management, SAP, vendor invoices and business reporting accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Align and successful deliver high quality activities and activations from Brand Plans to in-store POS to Digital
  • Work closely with Shopper Marketing and Account teams to ensure flawless activation at the local level in alignment with our Monozukuri principles
  • Leadership of specific cross-portfolio initiatives  
  • Work with Shopper  Marketing Managers to regionalize brand plans and deliver select custom programs where applicable such as Chinese New Year and Diwali.
  • Coordinate with GTR PMO on project Milestones, scheduling, tracking and governance of the centralized structure (including; International Marketing, Commercial/Global Key Accounts and channels)
  • Support Brand Team on Customer Journey management from End2End
  • Ensure all activities and activations are measurable and measured within the GTR framework 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-6 years marketing experience
  • University degree- BS/BA or equivalent
  • Proven ability to execute flawlessly on brand/marketing projects that align with overall Brand strategy and/or client/agency side
  • Ability to perform structured analysis of complex data as it relates to Brand direction
  • Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple products

simultaneously with a high degree of independence

  • Demonstrated experience in working across and up, within the organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers and other commercial leadership.
  • Demonstrated personal characteristics to be brand evangelist
  • Experience in trade/customer/shopper marketing desired
  • International Marketing experience desirable
  • Self-driven, results oriented, pragmatic, with a flexible and positive “can do” approach to challenges and difficulties.
  • Effective at influencing across cultures
  • Flawless communication skills in writing, meetings, and presentations especially in English.
