Monitor, investigate, analyse & enforce against possible IP infringements (E.g. Counterfeit, Brand abuse & Scams) to protect our Brands’ reputation and consumers. Trace, record, analyse & report on irregular stock movement data. Provide first class support to the Brand Protection function within Beam Suntory.

 

Role Responsibilities

Monitor, investigate, analyse & enforce against possible IP infringements (E.g. Counterfeit, Brand abuse & Scams) to protect our Brands’ reputation and consumers. Trace, record, analyse & report on irregular stock movement data. Provide first class support to the Brand Protection function within Beam Suntory.

  • Manage daily, online listings in an external system to identify possible infringements across Brands, Trademarks, and pricing from various online channels.
  • Conduct online research and assess, aggregate, and analyse data from a variety of sources (Focussed in Asian Region), presenting the findings in a clear and understandable way.
  • Enforce against online infringements and possibly moving from online to offline action or investigation by engaging brand protection partners to conduct further intelligence checks, reports and site visits or test purchases.
  • Striving to find new and innovative ways to better protect our Brands.
  • Manage on a daily basis incoming stock tracking requests (Global), track & record all using various methods & systems, including SAP
  • Provide statistics & monthly reports for Brand Houses and relevant stakeholders
  • Document processes and maintain accurate records of research and analysis undertaken.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information & compliance with EU & International Law, heling to protect company assets.
  • Support Brand Protection department to maintain relationship & communication with 3rd party partners & throughout the organisation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3-year experience in a multinational company (FMCG environment and International stakeholder experience is preferred).
  • Previous experience working in Brand Protection, Cybersecurity or Law is preferred.
  • High level of data analysis & accurate reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in delivering reports and presentations to a high standard.
  • IT literate (e.g. good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Database management experience.
  • SAP and EDW experience are preferable
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both internal & external stakeholders and able to support their requirements.
  • Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Able to demonstrate independent working, problem-solving & prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure & with ever changing priorities.
