Role Responsibilities

Sales Volume & Profit
•    Plan and agree sales targets and brand initiatives with the General Sales Manager. 
•    Achieve or exceed volume and profit targets for nominated key accounts within budgeted discounts and allowances as set out in Beam Suntory trading terms.

Market Share
•    Ensure the Beam brands achieve a rate of sale and promotional activity that is in line with or exceeds the market share objectives.
•    Expand current distribution status through new accounts with petrol stations/cvs and all other potential licensed liquor retailer within the channel.

Planning 
•    Initiate and implement promotional programs to achieve sales and profit targets for key accounts managed in line with Beam Suntory sales and marketing strategies. 
•    Implement budgets and forecast planning for key accounts managed.
•    Implement formal business reviews with key accounts. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process. 
•    Creating structured reports to enhance better understanding of the individual key accounts outlets in order to improve product visibility, sales and awareness. 

Promotional Activity
•    Implement activity as set out in agreed promotional plans with key accounts within marketing strategy and company retail pricing policy.
•    Supply sales force with information on time, as required, to implement promotional activities in the retail trade. 
•    To work closely with Marketing team/brand owners to execute trade marketing programs to enhance visibility within the off-premise sector. 
•    Bridging gaps between key accounts merchandisers to maximize product listing and generate sales volumes within the respective outlets. 
•    Supply merchandisers all information and support material required on time to implement activities in the accounts.

Customer Service & Distribution
•    Effectively manage timely supply to all key account member outlets, products to be promoted by ensuring adequate levels being available in the outlets.
•    Maintain regular calling on key account client contracts as well as key decision makers in member outlets through regular field visits.

Administration
•    Full account profiles and plans to be developed and kept current at all times. 
•    Report monthly sales figures, promotional activities, new accounts and all other related issues to the Sales Director.
•    Troubleshoot daily operational issues that may arise.
•    To monitor and to ensure up to date prompt payments from purchases made by trade customers. 
•    Adhere at all times to Company policies and procedures in compliance of required duties.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree qualification or Diploma in Sales & Marketing
  • minimum of 7 years sales experience with a minimum of 3 years-experience in Account management preferably in the FMCG industry.
