What makes this a great opportunity?

The Sales Executive for the e-commerce channel is responsible for managing relationships with a select group of small customers, facilitating sales team training on e-commerce tools, and overseeing payment processes across all channel customers.

Role Responsibilities

1.Customer Management:


•Manage relationships with 2-3 small e-commerce customers, ensuring their needs are met and sales targets are achieved.
•Act as the primary point of contact for these customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
•Designs specific initiatives to address different shoppers need: regular e-comm and last mile

 

2.Sales Team Training:


•Develop and conduct training sessions for the sales team on e-commerce tools and platforms, including best practices for online selling.
•Provide ongoing support and resources to the sales team to enhance their e-commerce selling capabilities.

 

3.Payment Oversight:

 

•Monitor and manage all channel customer payments, ensuring timely processing and resolution of any payment discrepancies.
•Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate records of customer transactions and payment statuses.

 

4.Sales Reporting:

 

•Track sales performance and generate reports to analyze trends, customer behavior, and overall channel performance.
•Provide insights and recommendations to the E-Commerce Sales Manager for continuous improvement.

 

5.Collaboration:

 

•Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives and promotional activities.
•Participate in cross-functional meetings to share customer feedback and contribute to strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in e-commerce or related industries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience in the FMCG or spirits industry is a plus.
• Understanding of online retail trends and consumer behavior.
