Role Responsibilities

As an eChannel development manager, you act as the ‘business owner’ for the eCommerce channel, possessing a complete understanding of all aspects of your business while working closely with internal & external stakeholders.

Sales/Commercial:

  • Develop eRetailer annual strategy, JBP, engagement plans for Pure eCom Customers (Amazon, other online spirit retailers) as well as Bricks & Clicks.
  • Negotiate, input, and track orders/delivery for eCommerce direct customers.
  • Lead the At Home Project development, adding constant improvements to the platform (new services, campaigns, online activations) and captaining the D2C journey for Suntory Global Spirits.
  • Maintain best-in-class relationships with existing customers and prospect new ones for the business.
  • Keep a constant track on channel performance with data-driven KPIs (sell in, sell out, DOH, market share, P&L performance, eCommerce and digital marketing KPIs, among others).
  • Be the spokesperson for eCom in various commercial forums like MBR, QBR, S&OP, etc.
  • For multi-channel customers (e.g., Bricks and Clicks), support the off-trade team with online execution and e-trade activations.
  • Track monthly investments within eRetailers (marketing BI, trade allowance) to ensure budget compliance.

Retail Marketing:

  • Co-create marketing campaigns with local marketing, customers, and social media agencies, connecting those activations into shoppable experiences and developing a thorough monitoring system for constant optimization.
  • Ensure best-in-class product execution across eRetailers’ platforms (images, product titles, descriptions, ratings, and reviews), maintain an always-improvement approach to execution, and seek guidelines from the global team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant FMCG/CPG experience in eRetail sales, key account management (preferably eCommerce), and/or business management/consulting with a proven track record of negotiations and delivering results.
  • Experience in retail annual negotiations (ideally Amazon), pricing and promotions, and inventory management.
  • Advanced experience with Excel or other analytical/Business Intelligence tools.
  • Highly polished communication skills – speaking, writing, presenting, and negotiating.
  • A willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done in a start-up environment.
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English is a must; Spanish is optional but would be valued.
