Sales Analyst - Mass/Club

What makes this a great opportunity?

The Sales Analyst will play a key supporting role in the delivery of annual sales and profit goals as well as market share growth across the entire Beam Suntory portfolio.  The Sales Analyst will assist in the creation of account specific business plans by collaborating with the Director, National Accounts. This role will also work across multiple functions including Customer Solutions, Customer Marketing, Shopper Insights, and Finance. 


Role Responsibilities

Analytics support for the Director, National Accounts in the following areas:

  • Planning
    • Assist with the annual business planning process focused on financial targets, share growth, assortment, and programming
    • Co-develop content with the Director, National Accounts for annual Line Reviews and Quarterly Joint Business Planning meetings for both Walmart and Sam’s Club
    • Provide tracking and commentary to Director, National Accounts for post-promotional analysis, rollbacks, pricing, voids, out of stock, innovation, etc.
  • Pricing
    • Maintain the Walmart Pricing Portal for Beam Suntory’s portfolio
    • Build price and margin matrix for Quarterly Pricing meetings with the Director, National Accounts, Customer Buying Teams, State and Distributor National Account teams
    • Work in collaboration with our distributor partners and field teams to ensure correct pricing within Retail Link and on shelf is up to date and accurate
  • Programming
    • Work with marketing, brand, and state teams to provide localized support for national and regional programs
    • Track execution and conduct analytics to measure promotional effectiveness
  • e-Commerce
    • Audit online assortment to ensure Beam Suntory’s portfolio is continually up to date with images, content, etc.…
    • Monitor competitive retailers to identify best in class digital execution
  • New Item Setup
    • Work with Director, National Accounts and Customer Solutions Manager to ensure on time and accurate setup of new items


This role is located in Rogers, AR.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of relevant field sales or marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • National/Chain Account headquarter contact experience desired
  • Understanding of consumer-packaged goods industry, retail channels and customer marketing tactics required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to create a compelling story
  • Financial acumen and ability to analyze large data sets
  • Knowledge of Retail Link and MADRID preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and data visualization software like Tableau
  • Experience with syndicated data sources like Nielsen or IRI
  • Highly organized, strong time management, ability to multi-task and re-prioritize
  • Ability to successfully navigate in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment
  • Willing to travel 25-35%
