Reporting to the Commercial Marketing Manager On Trade, the Assistant Trade Marketing role is central to the Sales and Commercial Marketing teams. The objective is to lead the planning and channel activation plans across Beam Suntory Brands on both channels On & Off Trade. He/she will be responsible for the translation of brand consumer strategy into relevant channel strategy and excellence of execution. This role goal will be to assist the sales efficiency by supporting the sales force in the rotation of our products and the growth of store sales through innovative consumer experiences. 

Role Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: 
•    Develop strategic Brand Activation plans aligned to Brand and Channel objectives
•    Identify and use consumer and shopper insights to adapt the activation plans & key sales drivers.
•    Develop Activation briefs aligned to plans & sales pitches oriented per channel. 
•    Collect sales force requirements and synthesize the field needs. 

Brand Activation: 
•    Manage defined groups of agencies for production, execution requirements and ensure value for money by establishing framework service agreements and rates. 
•    Lead and execute best-in-class activations, working with agencies and key customer contacts.
•    On-Trade: bring to life the expression of our brands in standard & prestige accounts 
•    Off-Trade: support the follow-up of activation campaigns.
•    POS: participate in the development of point-of-sale displays and associated promotional & scalable kits (window kits, tasting kits, merchandising, displays…)

Evaluation:
•    Ensure that brand visual identities and communication guidelines are properly executed in all activity material and communications in store in line with the 6Ps. 
•    Responsible for the sign off all communication / POS materials to be executed 
•    Analyze and draw up a quantitative and qualitative report on actions implemented in stores.
•    Ensure tracking and management of the activity budget including raising of PO’s

Key Partnerships:
•    Build excellent relations with the Commercial Marketing Manager, Key account Managers, Activation Specialist, Brand Managers and Sales Representatives to foster a partnership approach to building channel / customer plans.
•    Work hand in hand with Marketing Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Team to ensure excellent execution of projects.
•    Create and manage strong relationships with external agencies

Qualifications

•    With a 4/5-year higher education qualification, you have a strong interest in marketing and sales.
•    With your rigor and ability to manage priorities, you'd like to discover the commercial world of a dynamic and challenging sector.
•    Agile and flexible, you know how to interact with different people at the same time and can manage several projects at the same time with a certain level of complexity.
•    Organization, adaptability, initiative and curiosity will be key assets in your work as well as a team spirit mindset. 
•    Results-oriented, you are keen to find solutions and provide the appropriate answers, and you know how to convince.
•    Master Microsoft Pack Office (Excel, Powerpoint) 
•    Fluent in French and English 
•    Commercial or brand Marketing experience is a plus
•    Knowledge of Spirits Industry is beneficial
