  • The Indirect Procurement Manager is part of the Global Procurement function and is responsible for all sourcing requirements of those categories of Indirect goods and services related to the office of the BU in France, Paris..
  • The job holder has responsibility for ensuring efficient sourcing on a range of services, ensuring that Procurement ways of working and formal policies are in place locally, aligning with those at Global level.
  • Consistency of policies, common procedures and guarantee of service, ensuring compliance.
  • There is a need of acting as a company ambassador, working to build key relationships between the suppliers and BSI, as well as aligning WoW within all the region and Globally, being completely aligned with the overall corporate strategy and diverse functional strategies

 

Role Responsibilities

Support implementation of Indirect Procurement Strategy and procedures that are innovative, cost-effective and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within Beam Suntory across the region.

The France Indirect Procurement & Facilities Manager main responsibilities are:

  • New vendors approver in SAP – All French Vendors
  • Annual spend analysis for Indirect vendors according to International Procurement Policy and aligned with Global.
  • Reporting of conclusions and actions proposals.
  • Eventual support to Capex Projects
  • Travel Agency Management all related to French Travelers. KPI´s tracking, incidences management. Support on Hotel, air carriers and rent-a-cars negotiations. Front desk with BSI KAM Travel Agency as well as with In plant.
  • Support in all negotiations of vendors following threshold spend within International Procurement Policy for Indirect Categories
  • Administrative functions:  Vendors Master Data - PO creation and Reporting for those vendors managed by Indirect Procurement
  • Control of all related contracts managed by Indirect Procurement
  • Savings reporting and tracking aligned with the region following Finance Operation request
  • Support Sustainability projects managed by SC Team
  • Car Fleet contracting and maintenance aligned with the region and HR strategies. Management and contracting according to principles of Fleet car Policy. Monitoring mileage, new fleet cars ordering as required, PO and invoice support, daily issues
  • Go on with admin work as PO creation and reporting all related to the indirect categories directly managed by Procurement Indirect area.
  • Maintain a trusted and long-term partnership with stakeholders.
  • Policies continues improvement all related to Procurement and on those where Procurement is involved.
  • French Telecoms management, contract and ordering following procedures and aligned with HR and IT
  • Support to any stakeholder service project as per business need.
  • As Facilities Manager main tasks will be:
  1. Central point for any office issues
  2. Main contact for SBFF/SBFE relationships 
  3. Office supplies/stationery provider
  4. Office post and courier contact
  5. Main contact within Beam Suntory for Paris events
  6. New starter support, desk setup, introduction to Paris office
  7. Main Staff Engagement CSR contact for Paris and French Commercial BU
  8. SBFF/Beam HSE contact
  9. PO creation and invoice processing

 

Qualifications & Experience

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in purchasing and direct negotiation with working knowledge of legal terms and conditions and constructing agreements.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the Supply Chain & the impact that Purchasing has on it.
  • Skills to manage and motivate work teams, reinforcing weaknesses and recognizing achievements.
  • Experienced Negotiator.
  • Strong interpersonal with written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence others within the business and develop partnerships with internal customers.
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active with can-do attitude.
  • Capable of planning and organizing a diverse workload, whilst managing changing priorities.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines, ensuring line manager is updated on progress.
  • Project management skills: manage projects from brief to completion.
  • Committed to continuous improvement in processes, performance and personal development.
  • Working knowledge in Purchase to Pay cycle.
  • Proficient user of MS Office and SAP.

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrable experience in Procurement and project management of minimum three years in a fast moving and energetic Business environment. It would be positively evaluated previous exposure and knowledge of T&E and Lease vehicles environment.
  • Experience in ERP environments, specifically SAP
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; desirable a second language skill.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Full driving licence
