Region of Role: Control States xPA (remote / home office - location can be in Chicago OR any Eastern / Central Control State which includes VA / AL / MS / OH / NH)

  • Opportunity to play an integral role in enhancing connectivity between BSI commercial teams and Control States agencies by delivering solution-based recommendations, steeped in robust analytics and Consumer/Shopper Insights to influence strategy, support planogram execution, and enable performance tracking.

Role Responsibilities

  • Delivering with excellence against all objectives of a retail category plan, with an emphasis on influence, impact, and thought leadership – inclusive of, but not limited to:
    • Planogram drawing, with an emphasis on insights and financial performance
    • Category and shelf flow, with an emphasis on shopper/consumer insights and trends
    • Assortment and post promotion analytics, with an emphasis on action-based solutions
  • Ability to create purposeful and strategic partnerships, aimed at driving a meaningful and quantifiable impact
  • Experience in mining data to extract and synthesize information into actionable insights
  • Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, rooted in data insights, to impart strategic guidance
  • Highly adaptable, works well in an environment of change
  • Ability to lead autonomously in a fast paced and unstructured entrepreneurial environment
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in category management or associated work experience, experience in Category Advisor role an advantage
  • Experience working in beverage alcohol industry an advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of retail practices and store environments
  • Advanced skillset with MS Office, Space Planning Software and data visualization
  • Extensive experience with syndicated data, such as NielsenIQ, Circana, Numerator, NABCA ProDiver, or relevant shopper data
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to travel when needed
