This role will serve as a primary HR lead for Beam Suntory’s Global IT and Digital organizations reporting into the VP HR – Global Brands & Corporate Functions.   As the strategic HR lead, this role will be accountable to provide HR support to the Global IT and Digital Leadership team, including but not limited to, strategic talent decisions, critical succession planning, performance management, and key organization decisions.

 

Supporting approximately 300 employees across the US, Europe, and India, this role will be a key leader across the strategic people pillar throughout Global IT and the Digital organization.  This role will also engage with the HR COEs to adopt and leverage best practices across Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, DE&I, and Learning & Development.   Additional areas of responsibility include:

 

  • Talent & Workforce Planning: Build talent and role profiles for the capabilities required to underpin the organizational models. Match talent, capability, and roles as part of the organizational roadmap. Partner with the business leads and global talent on succession planning, building bench strength, and strategic workforce planning related to ITs long-term ambitions.  Drive the talent review process and own career pathing for both the IT organization and the Digital ecosystem across the enterprise.
  • Capability Development: Act as a coach and strategic partner to the Global IT and Digital Leadership teams, recognizing and deploying learning solutions where applicable.
  • Change Management: Support and lead change initiatives across the Global IT and Digital networks.
  • Performance Enablement & Organizational Effectiveness: Look for opportunities to continuously improve the processes and new ways of working to drive efficacy.
  • Culture: Ongoing proactive engagement building and driving of a “we over me” mindset throughout the Global IT organization.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Ensure that D&I is at the center of our talent decisions

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.  Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner with increasing responsibility, including experience in a Direct to Consumer (DTC) environment and/or a technology environment
  • A blend of experience driving and supporting organizational and cultural change is required.
  • Proven success partnering with senior leaders, leading change initiatives, and developing organizational effectiveness solutions is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Superior interpersonal and relationship-building skills 

 

The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $160,000 to $200,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
