The Senior Market Data Manager in the Global Consumer Data Activation Team is tasked with harnessing consumer data to generate strategic insights that drive decision-making at Suntory Global Spirits. This role is crucial in deciphering consumer behaviors and preferences to refine our brand offerings and optimize marketing strategies. By analyzing consumer data, the Senior Data Analyst will support the growth and success of our prominent brands, such as Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, Roku, and Laphroaig, transforming data into actionable insights.
Role Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insight Generation:
• Develop actionable insights and consumer data analytics use cases to inform marketing strategies, product development, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Analyze large datasets related to consumer behavior by leveraging a combination of key technologies including Consumer Data Platforms (CDP), data clean rooms & third-party data enrichment platforms.
Data Visualization:
• Create highly visual and engaging data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Present complex data through compelling and interactive visual formats, ensuring clarity and engagement for non-technical audiences.
Data Analytics Use Case Development
• Ideate, design & prioritize innovative data driven use cases which help Brand & Market teams deliver commercial results.
• Develop & deliver predictive analytics data use cases, including but not limited, propensity modelling, Consumer Lifetime Value (CLV) Prediction, Product recommendation engines, retention strategies, campaign effectiveness prediction.
• Develop & deliver descriptive analytics data use cases, including but not limited, lookalike modelling, personalized/relevant marketing comms, sentiment analysis, cross-channel consumer journey analysis, behavioral analytics,
• Develop & deliver prescriptive analytics data use cases, including but not limited to, next best action recommendations, cross-selling tactics, upselling tactics.
• Combine consumer & customer data to drive advanced data & analytics use cases including but not limited to, optimized marketing strategies, pricing analysis, distribution-marketing relationship analysis.
• Utilize advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance consumer targeting and personalization efforts, driving more effective marketing campaigns.
• Develop A/B testing and multivariate analyses to refine consumer engagement strategies and optimize campaign performance.
Business Impact and ROI Measurement:
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the business impact of data-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop financial models to assess the return on investment (ROI) of consumer data analytics projects and initiatives.
Leadership & Consumer Data Evangelism:
• Lead a team of agency partners to deliver results at scale.
• Strongly advocate for Consumer Data Analytics & bring to life the power of data for a Spirits company.
• Passion for the spirits industry in alignment with Suntory Global Spirits' principles and values, with a commitment to driving innovation and excellence.
• Understand the potential impact AI could have on the Consumer Analytics field & plan solutions accordingly.
Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
• Implement robust data governance practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and maintain a data quality framework that ensures accuracy and reliability across all consumer data points.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
• Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Flourish or similar, with a strong focus on creating engaging visual stories.
• Experience with Consumer Data Platforms (CDP) is essential.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential.
• Hands-on experience using various AI platforms to improve speed, efficiency & effectiveness is a strong plus.
Experience:
• At least 8+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Able to demonstrate a portfolio of data analysis. This will be strongly considered in the interview process
