Role Responsibilities

Role Mission 

The Global FP&A Sr. Manager role will be based out of the new global Beam Suntory headquarters in New York city.  This position has overall responsibility for reporting and analysis to senior leadership and the Board and engagement with Global Finance teams to understand and guide regional reporting to senior leadership teams.

 

This role supports the CFO and the VP of Global FP&A in analyzing and reporting results to the Suntory Board – interacting with the global and regional FP&A teams to appropriately communicate business performance and expectations.  This position will be a part of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis team reporting to the VP of Global FP&A with significant exposure to the CFO and CEO.  The Sr. Manager will also have an Analyst direct report.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Preparation of Global Monthly Business Reviews and quarterly Board presentations
  • Partner with FP&A counterparts to develop insights on monthly results
  • Responsible for monthly reporting and analysis of financial results to Beam Suntory leadership
  • Main point of contact with Beam Suntory shareholder, Suntory Holding’s (SHD) in Japan. Will be responsible for monthly SHD Board presentations and monthly call with SHD FP&A team to answer questions on business results and drivers.
  • Preparation of financial analysis requested by Finance leadership
  • Provide decision support and handle ad hoc questions

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred

Years of experience- Minimum 7 years of Finance and Accounting experience

Level of experience- Previous budgeting/planning and/or financial analysis experience preferred. Expertise with Business Objects, SAP, EPM (BPC) preferred.

Travel %-  <10%
