The Sr. Manager, Global Social will help establish critical social media ecosystem fundamentals & lay the groundwork to transform our organization into a social & digital-first mindset. This role is responsible for supporting the standardization and centralization of social media best practices & championing these throughout the organization. You’ll be able to impact structural recommendations for social media, lead development of playbooks and capability-building materials to upskill our entire organization. The role necessitates attention to detail, rigorous compliance, and project management, but is also a great opportunity to contribute as part of a wider global function.

 

 

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Create and update social media best practice playbooks cascading to global, regional & local teams
  • Lead social media capability trainings for various audiences & levels across the organization
  • Centralize, manage & maintain media platform Business Manager & Ad Account infrastructures
  • Directly support key regional and market teams on ad-hoc social media test & learn projects
  • Oversee Global & Local Social Media Reporting across the organization & provide updates to leadership team
  • Manage social listening tool, setting up reports, assist in gathering insights to drive action
  • Partner with the Media Team to create & consolidate paid social media best practice playbooks
  • Develop dynamic Global Social Strategies for our corporate handles, Founders & Ambassadors
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for brand social project needs, scopes, processes and executional guidance
  • Update relevant teams around social advertising policies & restrictions, adapting guidance accordingly
  • Partner to develop effective ways of working, integrating social media within the 360 consumer journey
  • Support Director, Global Social to establish relationships + Joint Business Partnerships with key social platforms
  • Maintain 85%+ global compliance of the IARD Digital Guiding Principles, directly working with teams to achieve
  • Identify, contract & onboard new vendors for content creation, UGC, social media platform management, etc.
  • Mentor junior team members and colleagues around social media excellence & best practices
  • Support the creation of a Global Influencer Playbook, alongside key PR/Communications leads

 

Qualifications & Experience 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in social media marketing either at a brand or in an agency
  • Deep knowledge & awareness of social media best practices and industry trends
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep knowledge of paid/owned/earned social metrics
  • Dynamic presentation skills & ability to teach others across different levels of expertise & experience

 

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is a base salary of $120,000  to $150,000.00 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. Salary range is commensurate with candidate’s location, experience and skillset.
