Join one of the world’s largest premium spirits suppliers and take responsibility for managing approx. 50 of the most Influential accounts, including premium/luxury hotels, cocktail bars, and restaurants in Metro New York. Role Responsibilities

Market Execution

  • Achieve assigned distribution, menu, house cocktail spirits, value/volume, and training/event KPI goals in the time allotted.
  • Work closely with marketing team(s) to create brand assets in assigned accounts for priority brands to enable and successfully execute staff training, menu and feature printing, back bar management, and merchandising.
  • Manages promotional budget to leverage localized opportunities.
  • Work closely with local distributors on account calls and brand activities to drive our on-premise priority luxury/premium brands.
  • Leads the selection, placement, and replenishment of Point of Sale for assigned accounts to obtain maximum profitability, market share, and sales depletions.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of account performance against key measures, by leveraging applicable data sources.

Brand Advocacy

  • Increase in credibility, extend brand awareness, and trial, and grow brand loyalty & trust through brand presence in assigned accounts.
  • Exhibit expertise and detailed knowledge of the Beam Suntory portfolio and broader priority categories.
  • Lead trade and distributor facing, product education trainings; including waitstaff training and samplings targeting premium+ brands, drink pairing advisement, menu placement suggestions, and drink recipe ideas.

Customer Management

  • Build deep relationships with influential on-premise accounts and provide unparalleled customer-focused service.
  • Deliver an integrated, multi-level, and coordinated marketing and sales approach to customers and consumers.
  • Drive usage of actionable category insights, and industry trends and deliver customer-first brand solutions.
  • Conducts regular visits (weekly to monthly) depending on market demands of assigned accounts to ensure Core Brand positioning and optimal activation of key programs and initiatives.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in the alcoholic beverage industry – On-Trade or Distributor preferred.
  • Experience with Influential Customers and/or Channel Management experience.
  • General spirits connoisseur preferred
  • Strong on-premise reputation.
  • Analytic capabilities.
  • Some off-premise experience is preferred.
  • Effective Budget Management Capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience selling a product and building brand loyalty through strong communication, listening, and relationship building.
  • Adult beverage experience with another supplier or distributor, as well as industry experience in the  On-Trade is preferred.
  • Experience having worked as a bartender, or a manager of a spirits-related account is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling brand stories and product detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a budget.
  • Able to interpret and leverage data to assess business and make recommendations.

Physical Demands

While performing the essential functions of this job, daily physical activities may include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling of up to 45 lbs.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and typing using a computer.

 

 

Salary Range

  • The salary range for this role is a base salary $72,000 - $85,000 with an annual bonus plan, profit sharing and health and wellness benefits. Salary range is commensurate with candidate’s experience and skillset.
