Manager, Global Internal Communications

Internal and employee communications is a critical enabler of the transformation underway at Suntory Global Spirit's and our ambition to be the World’s Most Admired Premium Spirits Company. Operating within the Global Corporate Communications team, the Manager, Global Internal Communications will be responsible for working closely with corporate functions to deliver impactful internal communications programs to help inform and engage employees around the world. The Manager will also play a pivotal role in supporting transformation initiatives that support the company’s growth strategy and cultural imperatives. The Manager serves as internal communications counsel to senior leaders, including members of Suntory Global Spirit’s Executive Leadership Team, and collaborates closely with colleagues on the Corporate Communications, Brand PR, and other functions to plan, develop, and execute communication strategies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Create engaging materials that align employee communications with business goals.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leaders, understanding their needs and crafting effective communication strategies.
  • Help leaders communicate organizational changes and transformation initiatives.
  • Support content creation for global employee forums: messaging, scripting and presentation development.
  • Stay informed on communications efforts within the team to identify opportunities for awareness and engagement.
  • Support various communications projects and initiatives with a broad, company-wide perspective.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
  • Experienced in managing senior stakeholders and navigating a matrixed organization.
  • Expert in supporting leadership, organizational change, and employee engagement communications.
  • Adaptable, organized, and capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also willing to roll up their sleeves to contribute collaboratively to our team’s broader efforts.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on employee communications experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Available for up to 20% travel, including international.

The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $110,000 to $125,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset.
