Manager, Global Internal Communications

Internal and employee communications is a critical enabler for the massive transformation of Beam Suntory’s ambition to be the World’s Most Admired Premium Spirits Company. Operating within the Global Corporate Communications team and Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Internal Communications, the Manager Global Internal Communications will be responsible for working closely with corporate functions to deliver impactful internal communications programs to help inform and engage employees around the world.  The Manager will also play a pivotal role in supporting change communications across the enterprise, putting in place best practices and supporting transformation projects that support the company’s key priorities and growth strategy. The Manager serves as internal communications counsel to senior leaders, including members of Beam Suntory’s Executive Leadership Team, and collaborates closely with colleagues on the Corporate Communications, Brand PR and in People & Culture teams to plan, develop and execute communication strategies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and write engaging materials that provide context for employee audiences that support communications strategies and business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic communications partner to functional leaders, seeking to understand their business challenges and opportunities and developing communications strategies to support them.
  • Develop and execute communications strategies and programs that engage employees in the vision and direction of the company and the role their respective functions play.
  • Support content production including messaging, preparation of remarks and presentation materials for quarterly global all employee town halls as well as periodic functional town halls and meetings.
  • Support leaders in communicating organizational change and transformation initiatives so that employees understand the change and what it means for them, leveraging digital internal communications platforms as needed.
  • Partner closely with global and regional communications counterparts, supporting key projects and events within the Corporate Communications, including quarterly global towns halls.
  • As a member of the Corporate Communications team, stay apprised of all key internal communications initiatives and opportunities across functions, developing and sharing best practices.
  • Support broader communications team projects and initiatives as needed, taking an enterprise view to this position.

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects and thrive in a rapid-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong team player, eager to roll up sleeves and support broader initiatives as they arise.
  • Minimum 5 years corporate communications experience, especially employee and change communications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, journalism or related discipline.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 20% of the time, including global travel.
  • Office-based role with flexibility to work remotely up to 40% of the time.

The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $110,000 to $125,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset.
