Brand Manager, Tres Generaciones & Sauza  

 

 

What makes this a great opportunity?

Be the brand champion and lead for Tres Generaciones, one of the most premium, storied tequila brands, as well as its ‘sister’ brand Sauza.

Play key role in leadership, development and implementation of strategic marketing on Beam Suntory’s super premium tequila portfolio, ensuring we advance our long-term brand journey and deliver key assets and strategies needed to recruit new consumers and achieve brand ambitions.

This role reports to the Director of Super Premium Tequila and Agave Innovation  

 

  • Opportunity to work on a super premium brand in a high growth and dynamic category
  • Opportunity to work on brand foundations, positioning and innovation to set Tres Generaciones and Sauza up for long term growth
  • Support development of global expansion strategy and deployment
  • Opportunity to work in fast growing Prestige segment on innovation, brand development and strategic partnerships
  • Develop, lead and manage strategic programs and asset development globally, ensuring our brand positioning and DNA comes to-life in a relevant way
  • Lead and develop direct report
  • Lead cross-functional teams and agency partners with ownership on key projects
  • Play an integral role in the business and brand planning cycle

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Brand Stewardship
    • Provide global brand strategy guidance and influence within the North America region
    • Facilitate exchange of information (competitive, regional insights, etc) and stay abreast with brand needs, leading regular touchpoints with Regions to ensure national plans are created in adherence to brand led, market fed strategy
    • Build relationships with cross-functional partners, including innovation, insights, Finance, PR, etc
  • Project Ownership
    • Lead strategic development and execution of key strategies, including:
      • Drink Strategy
      • Media and PR
      • Website
      • Gifting Strategy
    • Coordinate commercialization projects, including:
      • Barrel Program
      • Sampling Strategy
      • Packaging implementation
      • Commercial Development Tools

 

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum requirements:

  • 4 years of consumer marketing or brand/commercial strategy experience, MBA preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform structured financial analysis, turning data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Proven ability to lead and execute projects that align with overall strategy
  • Strong project management experience, including budget management

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a complex environment with many stakeholders
  • Experience working collaboratively across functions
  • Experience with multicultural and/or luxury marketing
  • Experience working cross culturally and/or desire to learn about different cultures
  • Ability to collaborate with agencies and other stakeholders to bring ideas from briefing to planning to execution
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment under pressure / time constraints
  • Knowledge of the spirits industry, particularly the three-tier system and distributor partnerships
