What makes this a great opportunity?

The GTR Shopper Marketing Manager  position is responsible for best in class shopper marketing, activation, and category management for the GTR business. The role must work closely in partnership with both Brand Marketing and Commercial contacts to ensure excellence in execution and a true customer centric approach is adopted.

The role will have a main focus in the Americas region but will be part of a truly global team from Singapore, Oceania, Madrid and UK. 

 

Role Responsibilities

The role will require a relentless focus on creating and deploying full 360 campaigns that are rich in consumer & shopper insight and that are guaranteed to drive mutual beneficial growth for BSI and its customers. With a keen eye for data, the candidate will have a track record for turning insight into action across a full range of consumer touchpoints to excite, engage and convert shoppers to purchase both in store and online

 

 

Role Mission

 

​​​​​​​This role will be a key component in driving premiumization across multiple touchpoints to ensure continual elevation of brand execution and shopper / consumer experience   

 

Outcomes & Success Criteria

  • Develop the annual customer marketing plan from the global brand plans to drive growth with key customers within their global region
  • Execution of channel strategy including airports and border store locations
  • Deliver the activation, visibility and promotional plans. Ensuring tactical activations and long term permanent visibility objectives are executed brilliantly, with a focus on key strategic locations and premiumization
  • Work with the wider marketing and commercial teams to bring to life Premium Shopper Experiences in some of our key global iconic locations – ensuring a full end to end activation of our GTR strategy and brand execution. 
  • Engage, educate and inspire the Brand Ambassador team to ensure advocacy excellence
  • Lead in digital acceleration with key customers to maximize shopper touchpoints and engagement
  • Amplify all key touchpoints with a digital solution working alongside the Senior Digital Marketing Manager in the area. 
  • Deliver clear customer and brand propositions with support from the global brand team
  • Be the key point of contact for the customer for marketing initiatives and the partner for the relevant KAM in managing business performance
  • Co-own the P&L with the relevant KAM, delivering ROI on all marketing activities
  • Manage agencies to deliver the plan on budget and on time
  • Own the Brand Investment through budgeting, tracking and implementation of the spends 
  • Concelptualise, develop and deliver the Value Added Packs and GWPs to capture the shoppers and build brand equity
  • Review activation and promotional effectiveness and recommend actions to improve performance as required (ROI)
  • Category analysis to report on performance (depletions) vs the category to understand performance
  • Review activation tools for effectiveness and work with the Brand Marketing team to enhance or improve engagement and impact
  • Building best in class partnerships with customers, team members and domestic market contacts
  • Maintan a good understanding of competitor activity, review and analyse industry data to improve targeting and performance, including passenger data, IWSR and other industry data
  • Category growth approach with clear insight driven customer propositions

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of trade/customer/shopper/consumer marketing experience
  • Creative flair with an eye for shopper needs  & requirements for the dominant PAX (Mainly US)
  • Understanding of luxury and relentless focus on best in class execution especially in Digital and large scale activations
  • Team player with a strong collaborative approach
  • Ability to convert numbers into insights
  • Ability to bring insigths to customer meetings to sell in our brands and activations
