What makes this a great opportunity?

The Senior HR Business Partner for Mexico is a key member of the International Markets HR team and a critical member of Mexico Leadership Team. The role is responsible for HR in our Mexico own Route to Market with approximately 100 employees. The Senior HRBP reports directly to Spain & LA Senior HR Director and matrix dotted line to Mexico General Manager. This role works closely to support GM´s and teams in functional HR Business Partner community to activate function HR plans by providing Country expertise.
The role offers space for Strategic business HR partnering with key senior leaders. The role will appeal to someone who can seamlessly move from sleeves rolled up action to added value strategic thinking and partnering/coaching/leading. The role is responsible to develop and drive the HR agenda rooted in business needs in line with Global HR vision. This role is supported and works in partnership with HR People Solutions, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Development/DEI and Total Rewards CoE Partners to ensure brilliant People and culture execution in market.

Role Responsibilities

Organization Design & Strategic Workforce Planning
Support GMs and senior leaders in designing the organization to meet current and future needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Provide partnership for implementation and change management, leveraging commercial acumen to evolve organizational structures in line with business plans.

People and Performance Partner
Act as the primary coach for Market Leadership teams, guiding them to make balanced decisions that address both business and people needs. Develop a comprehensive understanding of business operations and performance metrics to deliver effective solutions. Build trusting relationships with leaders to influence decision-making and address sensitive issues. Translate business plans into talent and organizational strategies, facilitating training and development for leaders and teams. Present people and culture topics at town halls and conferences.

Employee Engagement, DEI, and Wellbeing
Collaborate with leaders to create and implement DEI and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring cultural change is sustained over the long term. Develop wellbeing initiatives that align with business needs, maintaining Great Place to Work certification by leveraging regional and global resources.

Talent Identification and Management
Foster a culture of talent acquisition and development, partnering with COEs to ensure key positions are filled with skilled individuals. Create actionable succession plans and work with senior leaders to embed talent management processes. Build relationships with high-potential employees and facilitate their movement across business units.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including talent acquisition, compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and respective country employment legislation,
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural environment as a strategic HR Business Partner and Leadership team experience
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in HR functions, preferably with experience working as a Business Partner to a Managing Director/ leadership team heading up the HR function
  • Project, Change management and coaching qualifications desirable, demonstrable effective experience a must
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrable experience in envisioning, developing, and implementing new strategies and plans to address competitive, complex business issues.
  • Fluent in English
  • Appreciation of what is takes to be effective in an international Matrix environment
