Position Mission
The Trade Marketing Specialist, is responsible to develop the channel strategy in their customer and provide the knowledge to the sales team for activation. Share the category vision that drives sustainable growth for Beam Suntory, and help shape our growth strategies and deliver commercial and brand priorities with Marketing & Sales team.
A true team player, this person is responsible for defining and tacking the Channel plan and envolve the customer relationship through a clear channel strategy vision.
Role Responsibilities
GROWTH INITIATIVES IN CUSTOMERS
- Become the KAM Business partner for the Off Trade Channel
- Lead the implementation of agreed promotional and Visibility activities with the commercial team across customers
- Responsible for delivery of commercial results (NSV, Volume & Share) and measure the customer’s KPIs performance
BRAND PLAN ACTIVATION
- Lead Brand plan performance in the Off trade channel and align the brand portfolio / positioning and strategy with a channel vision
- Develop POS toolkits to increase brand presence and adjust it to the different format requirements in the market.
MARKET & COMPETITORS ANALYSIS
- Provide holistic understanding of drivers and detractors (pricing, place and BTL & customer promotion) of the category, our brands and the key competitor brands, the assumptions of their mid-term strategy and priorities and provide in-depth quarterly reviews of the performance.
- Support internal reporting in relation to category performance including performance score cards and TBL analysis
STRATEGY FOCUSED ON CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENTS.
- Develop and align channel plans with customers strategy
- Lead preparation and delivery of range reviews where applicable
POS management and implementation
- Define and track the annual POS Plan in collaboration with the marketing and commercial teams
- Tailor the brand materials and activation toolkits together with creative agencies
- Coordinate in store activations from point of sale materials production to brand prescription activities, events, etc.
- Develop PoS tools for sales reps teams
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-lead annual budget and internal systems requirements .
Qualifications & Experience
- FMCG Trade Marketing role (3 years min)
- FMCG National Account Sales Knowledge
- University Degree (Preferred Commerce / Business Discipline)
- Database knowledge (Nielsen, IRI, Kantar)
- Advanced analytical capabilities (strong aptitude for statistics, mathematics or business analytics)
- Advanced Computer Literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint .
