Strategy Manager - International

The role reports to the Strategy Director for International Division, a former BCG Project Leader and UBS Investment Banker, who in turn reports to the International Division President (a member of the Global Exec Team and direct report to the CEO). This role is based in the International Division HQ in Madrid


Role Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the International region long term strategy
  • Manage senior stakeholders, anticipating needs and proactively suggesting strategic solutions to business problems
  • Prepare strategic presentation for regional and global forums; drive process and comms
  • Collect and analyse data to prepare and present actionable insights; strong modelling will be required on a frequent basis
  • Prepare and drive presentation materials for leadership teams; moderate sessions as needed
  • Drive, manage and coordinate projects, including collaboration across cross-functional/cross-regional teams
  • Monitor and support implementation of initiatives, including communicating and cascading throught the organisation


Qualifications & Experience

  • 6-7 years' of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm; mix of consulting and industry or digital transformation experience is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to relay hypotheses/analysis/recommendations in clear, structured way
  • Ability to structure, organise and manage projects or workstreams independently
  • Ability to lead projects and/or workstreams, proactively thinking and executing next steps
  • Experience managing or helping developing people (e.g. junior analysts/interns)
  • Proven analytical skillset: ability to efficiently take translate analysis to powerful insight and coach others on analytical approach
  • Capacity to tackle abstract problems and develop concrete solutions
  • Fluent English
  • A confident and mature presence
