The core purpose of the Pricing Strategy role will be to support the Global Brand Houses in the ongoing development of global, long-term pricing strategies. This role will support the Pricing Strategy Senior Manager & the Brand Houses and work closely with regional Revenue Management teams. This function will ultimately drive profitable, sustainable growth through thought leadership and business partnership by influencing pricing, promotion and trade spend strategies.

Role Responsibilities

To help the Global Brand House in the development and establishment of long-term pricing strategies by doing the necessary analysis, creating insights and support. Transferring qualitative and quantitative brand strategies and objectives into pricing guidelines to support the premiumization journey of our brands through value creation. 
•    Collaborate cross functionally to develop and annually review the long-term pricing guidelines in line with Brand Strategies for Global use, including brand roles and architecture and competitive positioning.
•    Support the development and improvement of promotional guidelines as part of the pricing strategies through the necessary analysis, insights and collaboration with BHs, markets and RGM teams 
•    Collaborate closely with regional RGM teams, sharing the long-term pricing strategies to ensure short-term recommendations to the markets are aligned with the long-term brand objectives
•    Work cross-functionally with the Global Insights team, supply chain, finance partners, strategy partners, Global brand Houses, markets, and the rest of the Global RGM team to get insights (elasticities, market dynamics, changes in strategies, etc) to drive the necessary analysis and daily work to support the development of the global long-term pricing strategies
•    Develop proposals for the long-term pricing strategies for innovation products to ensure alignment with the long-term global pricing strategies of the brands.
•    Get involved in the development and implementation of pricing trackers as needed. Check regularly to ensure pricing guidelines are followed and otherwise elevate as necessary
•    Work with Brand House Finance teams to help manage allocations and maximize profitability and with the BH Strategy teams to be up to date on brand strategies and possible impact in the pricing strategies development
•    Work with Global Brand Houses to complete ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or related; MBA preferred
5 years’ experience in Pricing or Revenue Management. Alternatively, commercial finance, marketing finance or marketing insights. FMCG experience is preferred
Power point Presentation experience and proficiency with Windows and MS Office including advanced knowledge of Excel
Awareness of AI & ability to use for predictive analysis
Strong language skills, ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in written & spoken English
Ability to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team. Strong collaborative spirit and willingness to find alignments to get the work done. Flexible and adaptable in their approach.
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks
Self-starter, curiosity, desire and ability to think beyond surface level, dive deeper into analysis and data
Desire to understand the key drivers of our commercial business performance and how we can improve them.
