The Sales Trainer is accountable for ensuring the delivery and execution of Beam Suntory Spain Commercial team capability plans achieve excellent executional standards. In this role, you will be translating the market strategy into commercial development programs, from onboarding, core sales skills training courses, facilitating Key Account plan creation & line manager coaching & training.

 

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the spirits or FMCG industry and a sound commercial background to work hand in hand with the commercial functions (sales, RGM & commercial marketing), as well as external stakeholders. A person with a strong focus on Sales (Core and Premium), along with solid interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships, be able to influence a diverse audience and represent Beam Suntory when needed.

Role Responsibilities

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

· Deliver face-to-face and virtual training courses to Commercial teams.

· Deliver and manage accreditations across the team.

· Regular days in trade to identify learning needs and accordingly define action plans to improve execution.

· Enable consistency of execution of the Steps of the Call.

· Liaise with commercial teams to understand strategies, plans and activations and translate them into excellent execution training & 6P delivery in market

· Coordinate Off Trade training delivered by agencies.

· Support and mentor commercial teams to enhance execution excellence and sales by providing techniques to overcome customer challenges and sharing solutions/tools to improve KPIs achievements.

· Define and ensure visibility of the monthly training calendar.

· Ensure all training materials is available and up to date.

· Define cohorts and track training success.

· Support talent mapping & career planning and participate in other projects/tasks as required.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of sales or KAR experience within FMCG/spirits. At least 2 years of experience as commercial/sales trainer. Team management experience an advantage.

· Ability to navigate effectively, influence and thrive in a multicultural and diverse matrix structure.

· Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a wide range of situations, and ability to embrace and drive change.

· Team player with a strong collaborative approach able to build an inclusive and outperformance culture.

· Customer focused and people oriented.

· Good analytical skills with the ability to work within a deadline and deliver commercial KPIs.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage team, colleagues, and external stakeholders at various levels.

· Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.

· Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate training.

· Fluent in both written and oral English and Spanish
