Role Overview:
We are seeking an IT Sr Manager for Customer Data Platform (CDP) who will be responsible for defining and executing a strategic vision in consumer data management, specifically focusing on Salesforce Data Cloud. This role is pivotal in enhancing our data capabilities to deliver personalized and engaging consumer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Salesforce Data Cloud, with additional experience in other elements of the Salesforce ecosystem being a significant advantage.
Role Responsibilities
• Define and execute a strategic vision for CDP that aligns with and supports the broader business objectives, leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud to optimize customer data management and personalization efforts.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of CDP strategies, focusing on data integration, management, harmonization and analysis to drive consumer insights and engagement.
• Lead and mentor a technical team responsible for product delivery, ensuring alignment with technical and strategic goals, and oversee the technical delivery of all projects involving Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven strategies and initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in data processes and methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in Salesforce Data Cloud projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Utilize other elements of the Salesforce ecosystem, such as Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Loyalty Cloud, to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams, providing guidance and support in developing innovative data solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the CDP strategy.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce Data Cloud with extensive hands-on experience, demonstrating the ability to design, implement, and optimize data solutions independently.
• Strong strategic vision and ability to align CDP initiatives with business goals to drive growth and innovation.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, with familiarity in the broader Salesforce ecosystem, including Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Loyalty Cloud, being highly desirable. Experience working with other CDP solutions is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Proven experience in data strategies and digital engagement, with a focus on consumer data management and personalization.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into strategic data initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to overcoming technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• SalesForce certification in Dataclould
• Strong combination of technical skills in Apex, data modeling, cloud computing platforms
Experience:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data management and digital engagement, with a particular focus on Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver innovative data solutions.
• Strong background in data-driven strategies, with experience in data integration and consumer insights.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, translating complex data concepts into actionable business strategies.
• Experience with compliance requirements around 1st part data (i.e. knowledge of data encryption and access control mechanisms)
