HR Manager Spain




This role will be responsible for the effective management of the HR agenda across the commercial and global support functions that reside in Spain. Ensure that the HR function delivers an effective and efficient service to the business, whilst also working strategically with relevant HR Directors and HR Operations to build on the HR agenda to ensure our talent, performance, engagement and resourcing strategies support and deliver against the overall objectives of the business.



Mein responsibilities


  • Develop, implement and update HR policies, procedures and practices that allow the business to work more efficiently
  • Facilitate required trainings
  • Provide effective guidance to managers on employee relations issues and ensure effective resolution (up to senior management)
  • Labor Relations Spain: negotiation with Workers Council and day to day activities
  • Manage end to end Recruitment processes for Spain and Global Functions located in the Madrid or Jerez Office
  • Establishes appropriate relationships with Workers Council and external partners to support the HR agenda
  • Lead and execute the recruitment strategy for the relevant areas (from individual contributors to mid manager level)
  • Lead and execute the employee relations strategy and the disciplinary actions, when applicable
  • Work to support employee engagement initiatives, ensuring that company values and behaviors are incorporated and embedded
  • Provides HR advice, support and guidance across a range of issues including recruitment, retention, remuneration and benefits, performance management, development, employee relations and engagement
  • Manage end to end processes with efficiency through an employee’s life cycle with the business
  • Manage the day to day operational HR activities, in conjunction with the HR Operations team in his/her area of scope
  • Work with the matrixed International HR Director’s to deliver the HR strategic plan
  • Build stakeholder relationships across all areas of the business, working in conjunction with department managers to find workable solutions
  • Where applicable, be a key member of the country/site local leadership team
  • Supports the VP of HR and Communication on the delivery of the Diversity & Inclusion and CSR projects for the Region

Qualification, Skills and Experiences


  • University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Economics or related
  • +6 years substantial generalist operational HR experience, experience in a specialist HR discipline (e.g. C&B, L&D) is desirable
  • Employee Relations, Employment legislation, Labor law knowledge and interpretation
  • Performance Management, HR management and recruiting in a fast-paced environment
  • Industry/FMCG experience desirable
  • Commercial and operational awareness
  • Project and Change Management experience
  • Coaching experience desirable
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills in word and writing
  • MS Office proficiency, experience on Success Factors desirable
  • Regularly reviews and communicates progress against objectives and adjusts as needed
  • Champions continuous improvement and innovation
  • Inspires results and respect through empowerment, accountability recognition and rewards
  • Strong relationship builder, convincing negotiator and problem solver, Strong written and oral communication skills, and comfortable facilitating and presenting to groups
