The HR function at Beam Suntory is at an exciting point – we are implementing a refined Operations model that will improve our ability to provide strategically focused HR support to the business – including exceptional talent management, great business partnership, and importantly – getting the basics right every time.  Getting the basics right requires we have the fundamental infrastructure to support the function and business – a balance of both process and system.  We are also continuing our journey to build and use a single, integrated platform for managing people data and providing business insight through HR analytics.

 

Role Responsibilities

This role will act under the general guidance of the HRIS Director to provide daily support of SuccessFactors Talent Modules (Goals, Development, Performance, Succession, Calibration, and Recruiting) and technical management of the Talent Cycles. It will also include independently working on simple to moderately complex enhancements. Lastly you will play a role on larger projects, working in collaboration with a project team under the direction of a project manager.

The key responsibilities include:

  • SF Talent modules support including break /fix, release management, testing, requested enhancements, introduction of new features
  • HRIS Tier 1 Support
  • SuccessFactors HR Cycle Support
  • Back up support for SuccessFactors Employee Central and mass data loads

 

  1. SuccessFactors Talent Modules Support
      • Modules responsible for: Goals, Development, Performance, Succession, Calibration
      • Responsible for logging all incoming change requests (enhancements or new features) under the guidance of the HRIS Manager.
      • Partnering with the Talent Teams when prioritizing work and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
      • Complete simple to moderately complex configuration requests following established processes.
        • Act as the business analyst for requests under the supervision of HRIS Director by helping to translate final processes into technical processes.  Also provide technical input on processes that are being defined.
      • Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues for talent modules
  2. HRIS Tier 1 support and SF HR Cycles Support
      • Lead teams involved in the request or cycle and ensure launch dates are met
      • Communicate to teams and stakeholders on status/issues/risks
      • Identify training needs
      • Escalate issues to HRIS Lead or HRIS Manager in appropriate time frame
      • Document project/decisions/work performed
      • Responsible for working independently on simple to moderately complex enhancements and working under leader guidance for more complex enhancements.
        • Independently work to collect and analyze all enhancement requirements.
        • Independently work to collect all data required for the launch.
      • Responsible for all troubleshooting and issue resolution
      • Help create ONE global system
        • Under the guidance from the HRIS Director, partner closely with the Talent Team, People Solutions Leads and HR Partners to continue to enhance their processes where it relates to Talent activities.
        • Identifying reoccurring issues or problems that require training to eliminate.
        • Under the guidance of the HRIS Director, proactively delivering new capabilities for the Talent groups that improve functional performance / improve data quality / reduce risk / enhance employee experience.

      • Under the guidance of the HRIS manager, assist in any mass load needs identified per Mass Load Guidelines/Process.
      • Actively learn and support additional modules as backup to primary support

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Fluent in the English Language
  • 2 + years of SuccessFactors Goals, Development, Succession, Calibration, Performance, and Recruiting modules
  • 2 + years of HR/HR process experience
  • 2 + years resolving tier one tickets (for the SuccessFactors system is preferred)
  • SuccessFactors Employee Central knowledge
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to clients within the business
  • General understanding of how business processes translate into an HR system (Business/Technical lens)
