Role Responsibilities
Role Mission
This position will support the company’s Digital Technologies & Analytics initiatives by building and maintaining our numerous Drupal-based brand sites and other applications.
Outcomes/Success Criteria
Creative and passionate about building great user experiences.
Help formulate best practices for building shared code libraries and deployment practices.
Process content update requests quickly and with a high level of accuracy.
Ensure that SEO best practices are followed on all sites that we manage.
Ensure that Google Tag Manager is properly implemented on all sites.
Apply your expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and Drupal to extend, enhance and build great end-user experiences.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor's degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering or a related field
5+ years experience with PHP
5+ years experience with the LAMP stack
Expert level skill with deploying sites and configurations for Drupal installations.
Familiar with Git and using it as part of a CI/CD framework.
Intermediate level skill with modern CSS design principles and languages such as SASS and LESS
Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to implement them is desired.
Familiarity with Google Tag Manager is desired.
Familiarity with Grunt, Gulp and/or similar build tools is required.
Understanding of caching technologies such as Redis and Varnish and how to integrate them into a solution.
Familiar with configuring and tuning Linux web servers such as Apache and Nginx.
Familiar with best practices in Drupal core contributions and contrib module contributions (patch review, submission of new features/bug fixes)
Understanding of Drupal 7, 8 and 9, Composer, Drush/Drupal Console.
Experience with managing Drupal environments in Azure is desired.
