The role is a fantastic opportunity to have a tangible impact, building the digital analytics capability within the regional eCommerce and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business unit (eMU). Role Responsibilities
- Develop the digital analytics capability within the eCommerce and D2C business unit (eMU), to support the delivery of 2023 targets and enable Beam Suntory’s growth ambition
- Work closely with the D2C team to build full-funnel analytics capabilities. Set the benchmark for 360 digital analyses on marketing activations (owned, earned and paid channels), and identify new opportunities for growth through CLV and CAC optimization
- Collaborate with core eMU functions, and Local Marketing, Media and Commercial teams to enable and optimize our funnels, programs, marketing channels, and campaigns through marketing analytics-informed insights
- Be the ambassador of Growth Marketing within the organization, driving internal education, establishing the mindset (data and experimentation), and embedding the corresponding frameworks (process and funnel wise)
- Lead Success & Knowledge sharing (learning platform), standardizing frameworks for measurement, best practices and how-to-guides across eSearch, eContent and eShopper, ensuring learnings are translated into relevant business recommendations
- Support Annual Planning (1y) and Growth Planning (3y) process, regarding marketing spend and contribution based on analytics of prior performance
- Own roadmap of pilots and new tools to test (learning platform) across the eMU marketing team
- Collaborate and feedback eData and Global reports to help improve performance measurement and preserve data quality. Proactively input processes that can be improved with better analytics using existing data
- Champion performance enhancement projects, such as brand investment (BI) effectiveness and attribution modelling
- Guide IT team on systems/tools/martech needed to optimize marketing performance, track customer behavior, or enhance customer experience
- Liaise with Global IT, Global Insights, Global Digital Commerce, Global Brand House Digital teams, and Local Markets to ensure the successful development and integration of the digital analytics capability in the organization
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications and experience:
- 5+ years proven experience in similar role (digital analytics or growth marketing work)
- Knowledge of digital marketing (and its metrics) across website and owned media as well as search (organic and paid), social, display, and programmatic platforms
- Knowledge of web analytics (social and search, paid and organic), CRO, experiment design and full funnel marketing
- Superior Analytical skills, data-driven mindset, and process oriented
- Ability to structure business problems into data analytics plans, and analytics output into actionable insight and business strategies
- Test & learn experience, piloting projects and sharing best practices
- Think big and have a growth mindset and love to turn data into insight
- Learning agility, curiosity and always up to date (trends, tools, techniques, etc)
- Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
- Professional proficiency in English
- Capable of building effective and collaborative work relationships
- Excellent communicator, can explain complex problems simply
- Able to manage multiple projects, highly organized and detail-oriented
- Willingness to lead, own and roll up sleeves to get things done
- Self-starter with an ability to deal with ambiguity in a new role
- Software requirements:
- Google Analytics certification (GA4 preferred)
- Knowledge Semrush, Similar Web, and Supermetrics
- Data visualization/reporting tools such as PowerBi, Google Data Studio
- Experience working with a CDP and email marketing tool (SFMC)
Preferred Qualifications:
- (Traditional) Marketing background would be an asset
- P&L understanding and (traditional) business KPIs (market share)
- Experience working in a start-up where you had to define best practices
- Experience in marketing research and statistical analysis
- Experience in the alcoholic beverages industry a plus
- Software engineering, automation, machine learning knowledge valuable
