S&Op- Demand Planning Manager EMEA East

Role Responsibilities


The Demand Planning Manager EMEA East is driving the S&OP agenda for the cluster as well as improving the forecast quality and transparency for the cluster. This role is fully cross-functional driving the S&OP and demand planning process and being the interface between the commercial, finance and the supply chain department for the respective business area and key contributor to the EMEA BU and International processes. 

Main responsibilities:

•    Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the East cluster S&OP process with interfaces between Supply Chain, Markets, Commercial, Finance and Senior Management to ensure decisions are taken at the right level and communication is effective throughout the Cluster and amongst involved stakeholder
•    Accountable for the professional development of the EMEA East demand planning team. (currently 1 direct report)
•    Drive the global S&OP implementation for EMEA East and the transformation to Integrated Business Planning
•    Accountable for developing the forecast where applicable for markets in EMEA East in collaboration with Commercial Sales and Marketing.
•    Providing the analytics to support a driver-based approach; maintaining the documentation of drivers supporting the consensus forecast
•    Accountable for the management of the monthly demand planning process for EMEA East, including the cross-functional alignment to the latest forecast (volume and value) for the current year + one fiscal year and the determination of the risks & opportunities.  
•    Improve forecast capability and KPI measurements
•    Support training of the key stakeholders in EMEA East
•    Support S&OP process for BU contributing to the BU roll up by providing data from cluster and market S&OP as well as owning the forecast. 
•    Support the alignment of the S&OP Process with the 3-year strategic (operating) plan.

•    In time delivery of an accurate assumption-based forecast incorporating commercial insights to support decision making and monthly target delivery


Qualifications & Experience


Work experience in demand planning, finance or commercial in a cross functional international environment.  Experience in project management and cross functional work streams. Proficient in collaborating and leading meetings with senior management

SAP and professional excel skills highly valuable, English fluent and additional languages a plus, communicative and proactive attitude
