Demand Planning Analyst Spain

- Position will report to Senior S&OP Manager, Spain
- Incumbent will support the demand forecasting creation process and Demand review as part of the effective implementation of S&OP across the assigned channels.
- This person will work with Supply Chain Fulfillment to ensure the join-up between demand and supply within S&OP framework.
- The Mission:
- Support the Spanish Demand Planning process, acting as an effective interface with the sales organization to ensure a robust and disciplined joined up process.
- Responsible for Demand Planning Clinics & efficient KAM Review Meetings for accounts assigned as part of the local S&OP Process and a smooth volume to value transition.
- This role is part of the overall EMEA & S&OP team working towards a one number principle.
- Provide analysis for the Spanish business to enable a segmentation and an exception-based planning approach.
- Proactively communicates potential risks and opportunities not only volume based but also value driven.
- Coordinates with regional planning and works closely with innovation and international S&OP teams to ensure consistency of the process and optimal usage of existing reports and regional cascade documents, with a key focus on demand planning, supply planning, innovation, slobs, portfolio management.
Role Responsibilities
Responsible for Demand Clinics for assigned customers.
- Responsible for full horizon forecasts for the entire range of products with constant monitoring of the sales of assigned accounts.
Creation and maintenance / updating of forecast profiles for the various brands of the assortment as well as data cleansing.
-Analysis of forecast deviations including recommendations for appropriate measures to optimize forecast accuracy.
- Responsible for constinuously improving Forecast Accuracy on a weekly and/or monthly level.
- Back Up for Demand Planner.
- Active collaboration with all departments of the company with a focus on key accounts, sales controlling, marketing and customer service.
- Close collaboration with local and international Supply Chain.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant degree / education.
- Experience in working with SAP and proficient in MS Excel
- Years of relevant experience minimum 2 (FMCG preferred).
- Analytical skills with experience in the usage of KPI´s and reporting generation.
- Basic knowledge of statistical forecasting.
- Data savvy paired with the ability to understand complex situations quickly.
- Takes accountability for own actions.
- Target and solution-oriented way of working.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Travel - 10%
